Schedule of Events

Morning 10:00-12:30

• Kodosan traditional Thai dancing troupe
• Japanese cultural performances from Kodosan’s regional temples
• Ceremony of bathing the Baby Buddha statue in perfumed tea
• Greeting from President Rev. Shojun Okano

Lunch 12:30-14:00

• Bring your own bento and ground sheet and enjoy “gazing at the sakura” (hana-mi) under the many sakura trees on the temple grounds. (In the event of bad weather, our cafeteria will be open as a place to eat)

Afternoon 14:00-15:00

• A special English guided tour of Kodosan temple, its facilities, and teachings
• number will be limited to 20 persons
• even if you don’t take the tour, let us know you’re coming so we can be sure to make you feel welcome!!
